See where every WWII fallen is buried in Arlington National Cemetery

Writer's picture: Don MilneDon Milne

Over the past 12 months more than 100 volunteers have been writing the stories of the WWII fallen buried at Arlington National Cemetery. This map gives a visual update of where we are as of February 6, 2023.

There are only three sections left that need stories completed, but there are more than 3,000 unfinished stories.

It would be fantastic to get the remaining stories completed by this Memorial Day. To do that we can use the help of many more volunteers. It only takes 2-3 hours to research and write a story. If someone gives up a night of Netflix once a week, he or she could do more than a dozen stories by Memorial Day.

We provide free training and free access to Ancestry, Newspapers, and Fold3 to aid in researching.
